Kids Drama Club

Coming to the library this August! Stay tuned for more information.

Come participate in several hour-long practices before performing for your family and friends:

Recommended ages 6-12. Registration will be required.

Tuesday

Sing to Me: Weekly at 10:00am-10:30am -  Join Pastor Sonja for a song-based program for toddlers and children!

Please note: the last Sing to Me before the summer break is June 23.

Wednesday

Play and Learn by EarlyON: Weekly at 9:30am-11:30am - Children birth to age 6 with their parent/caregiver: A safe play environment which allows children to explore and create with new materials, play alongside other children & learn to express their thoughts and feelings through social interactions.

Thursday

Baby Time by EarlyON: Weekly at 1:00pm-3:00pm - Infants birth to 18 months with their parent/caregiver: A time for parents/caregivers to find support & encouragement from their peers and EarlyON facilitators in a safe and welcoming environment. This program will feature an engaging circle, giving infant and adult the time to delight together and find creative ways to use songs and puppets alongside developmental milestones!

Saturday

Play and Learn by EarlyON: POP UP - Children birth to age 6 with their parent/caregiver: A safe play environment which allows children to explore and create with new materials, play alongside other children & learn to express their thoughts and feelings through social interactions.

ISOW (International Students Overcoming War)

Come learn how students at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo are actively engaging with humanitarian crises by providing scholarships to students from around the world.

PC Reads

Perth County Reads brings our community together through the joy of reading. This annual program celebrates books, highlights Canadian authors, and inspires meaningful conversations. Everyone in Perth County is invited to read the same book, share their thoughts, join engaging events, and connect with the author in person.

Seed Library

The Seed Library is open! This is a free service with the goal of increasing awareness of and supporting sustainable food and gardening practices while building community.  Through seed saving and sharing, we celebrate biodiversity, nurture locally adapted plant varieties, encourage time in nature, as well as foster community connections and a culture of sharing.

Tech Tutoring

We offer FREE one-on-one Tech Time appointments! Some common issues we help with include:

  • Get started with eBooks and Audiobooks
  • Setting up emails and social media accounts
  • Basic laptop functions

Please bring your device, and your passwords.

 

Yarn & Yap

Bring your mother or daughter to learn how to crochet a jellyfish with Katy's Kritters!

Registration required. Some experience preferred.

Write On! Drop-In Hours

Drop into the library for a one-on-one writing session with a writing tutor.
