New enhanced vaccine certificate (the ones with the scannable QR code) are now available online through the provincial website.
As of September 22, 2021, proof of vaccination will be required in select higher-risk indoor settings, including indoor dining, bars, and gyms. The vaccine certificate system exempts children who are ineligible for vaccines and provides for personal medical exemptions.
Public libraries are not currently included on the list of settings in which proof of vaccination is required; but we will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves.
Library guidelines currently stats that all patrons must were a mask at all times when in the building, self-screen upon entry and follow continue to follow capacity limits and physical distancing measures.
We will continue to monitor developments related to vaccination requirements, including provincial legislation and health unit guidelines, and will provide any updates through our website and social media channels.
